Farmer, Alexis Danielle - age 6 1/2, of Knoxville, passed away April 13, 2004 at East Tennessee Children's Hosptial. She attended first grade at Brickey McCloud Elementary School. She was an angel baby. She was a special child that touched everyone she met. She was always smiling and truly an angel on earth.
Preceded in death by: great-great grandmother, Kate Highsmith; great grandparents, James & Maybelle Farmer and Ruby & James Broach; great aunts Annabelle Polachek & Gail Heatherly.
Survived by parents; Scott Farmer (daddy) & Dawn Daniel (stepmom), Angela Monahan (mommy); grandparents, Karen Farmer (nanny), Sharon & Johnny Miller (mamaw), Keith Monahan (papaw); great-great grandparents, Mary & George Nesbit of Fl.; sister, Destiny Farmer; stepsisters, Lesley & Blake Daniel; brother, Tanner Scott; aunt Christy Monahan; great aunts, Susie Farmer, Kathy & Jerry Key, Teresa & Greg Smith, Cheryl Brock; uncle Keith Monahan; great uncles, Kenny Farmer, Jimmy Farmer, Ray Monahan, John Monahan, Ed Monahan, Dale & Lisa Broach, and Steve Broach; & cousins, Jennifer, Mandy, Michael, Katie, Caleb, Breanna; and a host of special friends.

Over 600 people were in attendance of Alexis's farewell. Some people that attended included staff from Children's Hospital and Doctor's offices; students and staff from Brickey Elementary School; students, staff and friends of Powell Elementary; Inskip Ballpark coaches, players and cheerleaders; Fort Sanders School staff and students; many other family members and friends.
Services were held at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921.
Resting place is found at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 4717 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37919, Adair Drive left hand side from Broadway.

Father's Day 2008
Alexis,
I'm sorry I'm a day late putting this on your page. Summer is here and the girls are being the girls as usual. You know how they....LOL I know you understand. I didn't forget babygirl. Daddy doesn't mind little things like this. He knows in his heart how much you love him and he knows how much he loves you. He loves you much more than he needs air. You mean the world to him. I really don't know how he is going on without you. Just the thought of being with you again one day keeps him going. He knows he has to be here for Des. We need him. You wouldn't believe the crazy stuff he talks about. Just last night he was talking about driving his motorcycle without a helmet. OMG I'm going to slap him silly. I know he loves that motorcycle but if anything happens to him I don't know what I would do without him. You better whisper to him a lot.  Work that Scooter magic!!!
Yesterday was Father's day and we were coming home from Cherokee, NC so we spent the day up in the mountains yesterday and went high up in them, so high that we seemed like we were in the clouds almost to Heaven. All I could think about was you.
You are always with us no matter where we go.
I love you Scooter and miss you with all my heart.
